FY21.2 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)

We’re proud to be awarded key efforts with the CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL DEFENSE PROGRAM for the FY21.2 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) to develop CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) sensors that are present throughout the armed forces. The Stryker Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle Sensor Suite Upgrade (NBCRV SSU) provides CBRN mounted reconnaissance capability for both manned and unmanned Stryker systems. Augmented Reality (AR) capabilities such as the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) are being developed to provide individual warfighters with real-time heads-up viewing capabilities for a variety of applications.
Augmntr, partnered with Teledyne FLIR, proposed the Augmented Reality for Chemical and Biological Defense (ARCBaD) system, bringing together Augmntr’s expertise in Augmented Reality and Geospatial Technology together with Teledyne FLIR’s equipment and expertise detecting Radiological and Chemical threats.
Augmntr is very excited to leverage our customized RZR Mobile Sensor Platform (CRMSP) to further the team’s development for this project!
